break time!

finals are over, yet i'm scared that i didn't pass. which is not bueno at all. instead of going somewhere 100 miles away i saw family today. good stuff. always a pleasure. then went out to send off my cousin and her husband to hawaii. =) good times, and i WILL see you guys when i stay there in hawaii. yoooouuuu know iiiiiiit! k. that's all.

oh geez. so Thanksgiving has passed and you know what that means! 103.5 "the KOST" is now playing Holiday music for the Christmas season. you gotta either love it or hate it. BAH HUMBUG! hahaha. Vegas anybody?

enter in november

damn... it's november. well it's been november for a good 12 days but i just realized the year of 2007 is coming to a close. so much has happened and changed but i'll save the recap of the year when we hit december.

there's really only 3-4 weeks of school left and i need to get crackin' on my term paper. ahhh! midterms are slowly but surely here. and then comes finals in a few more weeks. wow. fall semester already coming to an end as well. then, i would take intersession but i don't have the good old 650-700 to take a class. and i guess i need to take a breather from juggling work and school. i need to register this week too. sheesh.

so i finally went shopping. sounds pretty girly. but i haven't gone shopping since august so it's kind of an accomplishment. i got another pair of TOMS (which is a brand that matches what you purchase to donate a pair of shoes to a child in need... so they better be giving shoes to a couple kids because of me). It's getting cold, so i got a hoodie and a dress.
yea, a dress. i do need some new black pumps and possibly some boots for work. a wool jacket from nordstrom's was looking mighty nice. buuut, i think i may have to wait for the next check since i only get paid MONTHLY. dammit.

Congratulations to my brother Paul for getting his masters. good job dammit. so proud, so so proud. i love you bro. the party was fun too. X RATED to get faded! =)

i finally got to see wicked last night. good musical. mission accomplished. thanks chau. we got to get some shopping in too. except Keep was closed. ahhh well, better luck next time.

this past week has been long. let's just say, it is definitely necessary to take 5 minutes to sit down and catch up with myself. i got to go out last night to mai tai's even though i was ridiculously tired. it was some good hang out time. until some dumb ass guys came up and busted a "The Artist" pickup. Guys, please... don't start with "can i ask for your opinion?" That does NOT work. The question was "my buddy's getting married this month but he's only known the girl for 8 months, should i let him do it?" WOW, buddy. A simple hello would have done him better. A couple of my friends who were standing with me answered as well which was "that's not up to you, that's up to him." i added, of course, "he's gonna do what he wants to do regardless of what anyone else says. so if the marriage fucks up, he'll find out the hard way." and this, my friends, is where the conversation was supposed to stop. but this guy continues on, yet this is where we turned away and deuced. and why is it that some guys have the nerve to put their hands on a girl's waist as they ask "hey where are you from? what's your name?". that just sounds sleazy. oh, if only there were Hitch mindsets embedded in guys. FBGM.

I got to see my old co-workers... aka my favorite co-workers this weekend. Friday, I hung out with Vanessa. we went to yardhouse in long beach at the pike. caught up on a lot of things. kind of did a synopsis/recap on the past two years. damn, it's been that long. Saturday, went to Six Flags for work. Ivan, Amanda and I went on that Devil Swing or whatever you call it. It was fuuuun. They're both great people. They're the type of people that keep me sane and are super supportive. And, make me smile.

Anyways, it's sunday. my only day off until next saturday... where it's PAUL'S GRADUATION! congrats, brother! get cho masters on. party on saturday!!! ahaha. I'll be at Crystal Cove for a geology field trip, so i'm sorry i won't be able to make it to the actual graduation.
